Bald Eagle

How lucky am I to get to photograph this juvenile bald eagle up close?  I happen to live near a science center which is home to a number of raptors whose various injuries have made it impossible for them to survive in the wild.  This girl (or guy, not really sure) is a relatively recent new resident.  I haven’t seen her outside of her enclosure until this week.  It was amazing how much bigger she looked out in the open.  Her chest feathers were strikingly beautiful and she seemed incredibly majestic and fierce.  I am so happy that these birds are increasing their numbers in the wild.
